Monster Energy / HMK USA / 509 / Yeti Snow MX athlete Brett Turcotte rode into the history books with this incredible, first-ever backflip on a snow bike.

Turcotte was riding a 2016 Kawasaki KX450F with a Pro Circuit Ti-6 exhaust. The Yeti Snow MX track kit on his bike is the SMX 120.

We asked Turcotte how flipping the snow bike felt:

"It was the weirdest flip I've ever done! So slow and so many things to think about! It wasn't a conventional setup that's for sure. I tried in second gear and failed miserably. Clicked 3rd gear and held on, took a few tries but it worked. The rotation is REALLLLLLY slow, and the pull point is really late. It was a fun challenge!

We hand dug the lip in and waited for weather. We waited on fog, snow, wind... pretty much had it all. Finally, it cleared and I got excited and started hurling myself. Being the first one ever I had a lot on my mind: 'Is it possible? How fast should I go? Is someone else gonna do it this week?'

Definitely a mental straining trick but so relieved that I got it done! I've now flipped in this order: BMX, mountain bike, sled, dirt bike, and now a snow mx bike."

Only one guy on the planet can say that. Congrats Brett!
